Samuel Beckett's Irish Gastro Pub - September 2014
Feeling a bit of ye ol' Irish
The Winery at La Grange - Summer 2014
Ok, so we are beer drinkers, but we do enjoy playing the wineries!
Madigan's Waterfront - Summer 2014
Special guests are encouraged to join and sing their favorite songs- especially if we don't know the words to your request!
Other 2014 pics
The Landing, Coles Point Marina - July 2013
Playing on the deck by the water.... doesn't get any better! Great night, met some good folks and kept the place open longer than they expected.
O'Faolain's Irish Restaurant and Bar - June 2013
Playing non-Irish songs at this awesome Irish Venue. An outside show, we had seating by the bar in front of us (smoking section) and the "cheap seats" behind us (non-smoking section). This is about as close to playing "in the round" as we get. We did attempt to play to all sides as we would turn around occasionally. Which view was better? Jury is still out on that one....
St Patty's Day at Bunker Sports Cafe in Leesburg - March 2013
A very non-traditional Irish act playing at a non-traditional Irish pub (actually NOT an Irish act playing at NOT an Irish pub). A great time was had by all. Russ is hanging with the ladies .... and Steve? I think he was getting a beer....
At Kilroy's in Springfield, VA - 2013
Our triumphant return after a hiatus lands us several recurring shows at Kilroy's. Every show has been completely different from the last. Between audience song requests (which we attempt most of them) to guest performers sitting in for a song or two, patrons will never see the same show twice!
At Sunset Grill 6- 2010
We got to fill in for The Killer B's one evening at Sunset Grill in Annandale, VA. Great place, awesome people, friendly staff, cold beer, let's see did I leave anything out?... oh yes and a GREAT TIME!
At Kinsale Harbour Restaurant 5-29-2010
Memorial Day weekend played host to the first official gig for Something Shiny. The restaurant is located right on the Yeocomico River in Kinsale, VA. This was also the second weekend the restaurant was open with their ABC License. We had a really good crowd that day everyone (especially Something Shiny) had a great time. Below are some pictures of the event.
Something Shiny- Debut Party
On Saturday, March 20th, 2010, we had a private, invite-only party for the purpose of debuting the new act. We would like to thank all that made it out to the party and for your comments. There was some very good constructive criticism which we have been able to use to make our show better. We are grateful to our fan base and their support. Thank you!
